Family Law Advocacy Program
Family Law Advocacy Program provides Family law advocacy to our community.
Funded by
The Law Foundation of British Columbia
Gaming Policy and Enforcement
The Family Law Advocacy Program provides legal information, support and referrals to other service providers. We promote access to justice and increase awareness about the justice system and other collaborative options. A Family Law advocate can provide tips on legal research and self-advocacy and help prepare and organize client legal information ahead of duty counsel/legal aid meetings. This program does not provide legal advice or legal representation in court hearings. Services include a range of legal advocacy relating to family law such as guardianship and parenting time, child or spousal support, divorce and separation, protection orders, Family Maintenance Enforcement Program, and child protection.
