Thank You Donors

Are you ready to “Party”?

Do you like to have fun? Are you passionate about your community and want to give back? Do you want to help local children, youth, families or seniors, but don’t know how?

You can make a special occasion even more meaningful, plan an event, turn a celebration into a time for giving or raise awareness and support a good cause. There are so many reasons to fundraise for a cause you care about. Whether it’s to celebrate a milestone or anniversary, in lieu of birthday or wedding gifts, a dinner party or garage sale, your event is what you make it, so have fun with it!. Plus, at Community Services we make it easy to start your own personal fundraiser.

Consider turning your next event, birthday or activity you do into a fundraiser for Community Services. “Third Party” fundraising events are a rewarding way to give back and make a huge impact in the lives of many individuals and families in your community. By hosting a fundraising event for Community Services you can help change the lives of local isolated seniors, children who have been abused, youth struggling with mental health issues and many others.

Every dollar counts and you don’t have to hold a giant event to make a difference in our Community! Simply gather a few friends or family members and hold a car wash, bake sale, chilli cook off or bingo night, or talk with your coworkers and organize a fundraising event at work. Be creative when brainstorming ideas and remember to check to see if your employer has a “matching gift” program to double your fundraising efforts!

We will gladly help you with a fundraising toolkit or provide you with fundraising ideas. We can help with marketing, program information for guests, tax receipts for donations, and ideas to make the event extra fun!!

Did you attend any of these recent events: RMDFP annual Walk/Cycle event, the Strut your Stuff fashion show or Wild Wild West pub night? These fun events were organized by caring members of our community and raised much needed funds for Community Services programs and we are grateful!

Our ultimate goal is to support and empower individuals and families to realize their potential and achieve self-reliance. With your generous support we can continue to make that happen!

Call us now to share your “Third Party” idea and we’ll help you get started. For a third party event application, toolkit or more information on Community Services and how to host a fundraiser please contact Heather Walker at 604.467.6911 ext. 1413 or
