Today, our Senior Services Department hosted a heartfelt Volunteer Appreciation Barbecue to celebrate the incredible individuals who give their time and compassion to our community through our Senior Services Programs.

We had the honour of presenting service awards to recognize their years of dedication and the countless ways they’ve made a difference in the lives of local seniors.

These volunteers are the quiet heroes among us—driving seniors to medical appointments, helping with groceries and food bank deliveries, delivering meals, and offering warm, friendly visits that mean more than words can express.

Their kindness, generosity, and unwavering support bring comfort, dignity, and joy to so many. The impact they have is immeasurable, and our gratitude runs deep.
