About Program
Assisting parents seeking child care and providing support services to child care providers.
Services to Parents
Referrals are to child care providers who have met the program's eligibility criteria. We provide parents with preschool and child care options for children, infant to 12 years of age; Assistance with the Affordable Child Care Benefit application; Parents can access an educational toy lending library for their children.
Parents requesting membership must complete and sign the CCRR Membership form. Please download, print, and sign the form and return to the CCRR office. Please note that by signing the form you are consenting to service..
Services to Child Care Providers
Registered LNR and Licensed child care providers are placed on a monthly updated child care referral list available to parents seeking child care. We offer workshops, courses and networking opportunities; Care providers have access to a large lending library,laminator, and die-cut machine. Staff are available for consultation and community referrals.

Service to Child Care Providers
Providing child care in Maple Ridge or Pitt Meadows
Registered license-not-Required Members: Must have clear criminal record check & clear criminal record check for those over 12 in the home, character references, first-aid certificate, 19 years of age or older, intake assessment, home safety review, 20 hours of child care training before membership, proof of commercial business liability and accident insurance (recommended), minimum of two child care related workshops during each year of membership.
Licensed child care provider members: hold a current child care license issued by Fraser Health to provide Licensed child care.
Other Info
Informal child care providers, substitutes, community partners and parents may purchase membership to the lending library. Child care providers also receive our newsletter.

Community Partners/Funders
The BC government has funded the Child Care Resource & Referral program since 1991. The Ministry of Children & Family Development currently provides the funding for services available within this program.
