Scope of Service
At this time, we are providing all services while following the COVID restrictions as directed by BC Health Authority and following Community Services COVID protocols.
Hours of Service
The hours of service are flexible and adapted to meet the needs of the family.

Striving to create positive permanent connections for Aboriginal children in care, to their parents, siblings, extended families and cultural communities.
About Program
Supports children and youth to make valuable familial, cultural, community, and peer connections and supporting youth on their journey towards independence.

Child and Youth Connections | Individual referral services/supports offered: Connections Cultural Plans (which can include genograms, exploration of family, connection to Aboriginal community and cultural connections) and Youth Independence Transition supports (which can include youth transition plans, life skills assistance, support to locate housing, and connecting youth to community resources and supports). |

Children's Connection Group | Cultural/social group for children 7-12. Children meet to socialize, make new friends, share a meal and learn different cultural practices and traditions, including talking circle, smudging, dance, drumming and crafting. | The Club 22722 Lougheed Hwy., Maple Ridge Kim Mapson Tamara H |
Youth Group | Cultural/social group for youth ages 12-18. In conjunction with Fraser River Indigenous Society Youth Group, youth come together to hang out, engage in cultural activities and share some food. Who Qualifies/Eligibility
Aboriginal children and youth who are either in MCFD care, Out of Care Options living arrangements or at risk of coming into care under the age of 19. Must reside in either Maple Ridge or Pitt Meadows. Referrals are accepted from MCFD social workers, school staff and other professionals.
