CCRR Understanding Executive Function Development in Early Childhood Settings – March 4th from 9am-2pm
March 4 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Executive function refers to a set of mental skills and actions that we use every day to learn, work, regulate behaviors and manage daily life. Difficulties with certain skills can make it hard to focus, follow directions and handle emotions. This workshop will focus on increasing your knowledge and understanding of the executive functions through the lens of early childhood. We will explore ways to promote and scaffold the development of these skills through everyday experiences and interactions within childcare programs.
