Board of Directors – Bobbie Thompson
In 2018, Bobbie became the owner and operator of Right at Home Canada – Fraser Valley, a senior home-care organization providing in-home support to older adults. In this role, she is responsible for financial oversight, staffing, compliance, and daily operations, further strengthening her understanding of community-based care and aging-related services.
Bobbie has served on several boards over the years, including as Board Treasurer recently with Abbotsford Association for Healthy Aging (2022–2024). She has also volunteered with Abbotsford Hospice and various smaller community charities in the past.
Outside of work, Bobbie enjoys traveling and learning from different cultures. She is committed to strong governance and believes that practical efficiencies help organizations maximize community impact.
