Regional Youth Peer Support Program

The Regional Youth Peer Support Program helps youth navigate mental health and substance use challenges while building on their strengths.

The Regional Youth Peer Support Program supports youth ages 13 to 24 in reaching their goals and building on their strengths while navigating mental health and substance use challenges. Through one-on-one and group support, Peer Support Workers connect youth with resources, help develop practical life skills, and foster long term community connections.

This program runs in partnership with Fraser Health and operates across 4 service regions. In Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows, the program works with the Integrated Child and Youth team (ICY) to provide wrap around support and services to youth. In the Fraser North, South, and East regions, the program works alongside the Transition Team to support youth being discharged from hospital in their recovery journey.
