Alisa’s Wish – Youth Advisory Committee
The Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) for Alisa’s Wish brings together young people in our community to generate awareness and fundraising ideas for the program.
Are you 14–18 years old and living in Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, or on Katzie First Nation Territory? Do you care about making a real difference in your community and standing up against child and youth abuse?

We’re a team of youth working with Alisa’s Wish to drive change. We focus on prevention, awareness, and youth leadership—making sure our voices are heard loud and clear.

We’re building a welcoming, inclusive space where young people connect, engage meaningfully, and share diverse perspectives.
As a Member, You’ll:
- Co-lead and help design creative projects and events
- Share your voice and lived experience to shape our work
- Create social media content to raise awareness
- Get involved in local community events
