Stories

Rob Hess Country Music Artist

“I believe that we are all given gifts to share....some are given financial blessings...some musical talent...others are given good health and the spirit to serve....If together we can make a brighter day for those in need in our community....I can’t think of anything I’d rather be a part of.”

“Helping Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows Community Services with  the Meals on Wheels Country Christmas Concert has become deeply personal as I celebrate each show as one more victorious year of life since my cancer diagnosis.  I feel so blessed.”

Story Sharing Contest Winners Reach their Potential!

In December 2009, Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Community Services held their first story sharing contest.   Five winning stories were selected.  The stories selected were a wonderful assortment of heartwarming accounts from individuals in our community. Remarkable stories from remarkable people!

The selected recipients were presented with gift baskets at a special presentation on the evening of December 8th and their stories were printed in the Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Times
