Rainbow Club

Providing a supportive psychosocial rehabilitation environment designed to assist persons who are living with mental health issues to realize their potential as individuals

Services Offered

With the support of a facilitator, members perform tasks that are essential to the functioning of the clubhouse.  Members determine how they wish to participate and what goals facilitators can assist with.  There is no charge to become a member of the Club.  Opportunities to participate in the clubhouse include:

Opportunities to participate in the running of the clubhouse

Afternoon activities (as per monthly calendar) such as art, crafts, pool tournaments, women's group, guitar, games, outings

Evening recreation activities such as games, dances, baseball, outings to movies, community special events

bullet

Lunches and dinners are prepared at the clubhouse by staff and members and offered at an affordable price

Eligibility For The Rainbow Club

bulletDiagnosed with a mental health issue
bulletMust be 19 years and older
bulletReside in Maple Ridge or Pitt Meadows
bulletReferred by the Maple Ridge Mental Health Center

Therapeutic Volunteer Placement

This program encourages individuals to develop work habits through a modified work experience in a variety of volunteer placements.  Clients of this program have an opportunity to earn honorariums for expenses.

Hours of Service

Our hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Evening program hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
