Serving the settlement needs of senior immigrants and their families

About Program
The program provides information, referral, and support to assist senior immigrants to integrate into their community, access resources and services in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows.  Includes connecting immigrant seniors to social and government services in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, connecting immigrant seniors with resources to English language training, organizing group activities that support healthy and active lifestyles for immigrant seniors, educational workshops and providing volunteer opportunities for senior immigrants.

Who Qualifies/Eligibility
Senior immigrants 55 years and older, landed immigrants, refugees and their families

FREE

Community Partners/Funders
Ministry of Advanced Education and Labour Market Development.  Subcontracted through Diversecity Community Resource Society.  Regional contract, with Diversecity Commmunity holding the contract and partnering with the following agencies:

  • Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows Community Services
  • MissionCommunity Services
  • Abbotsford Community Services
  • Langley Community Services
