Purpose Statement
Providing a supportive psychosocial rehabilitation environment to assist persons living with mental health issues to realize their potential as individuals

About Program
With the support of a facilitator, members perform tasks that are essential to the functioning of the clubhouse.  Members determine how they wish to participate and what goals facilitators can assist with.

The program encourages individuals to develop work habits through a modified work experience in a variety of volunteer placements.  Clients of this program have an opportunity to earn honorariums for expenses.

Opportunities to participate in the clubhouse include:  vocational support, volunteer opportunities, reception skills, computer/internet lessons, daily meal preparation, grocery shopping, budgeting, outreach, orientation, hiring committee, events committee, music, art, wellness programs, and social and recreational opportunities.

Daily Activities include:  Running the clubhouse, bi-weekly membership meetings, socializing, afternoon activities such as community outings, pool tournaments, music program and games.

Evening recreation activities include: games, outings, community special events.

Who Qualifies/Eligibility
Must be 19 years of age or older and reside in Maple Ridge or Pitt Meadows and diagnosed with a mental health issue.  Must be either self-referred or referred by the Maple Ridge Mental Health Centre.

Cost
FREE
Lunches and dinners are prepared at the clubhouse by staff and members and offered at an affordable price.
