About Program
To assist families experiencing levels of stress or conflict where the development of parenting strategies, awareness of child and youth development behavioral management and life coping skills will have an effect on reducing the stress and promoting stability within the family.

Who Qualifies/Eligibility
Families are eligible for service if the family has children under 19 years of age and they reside in Maple Ridge or Pitt Meadows.  Issues may include: family violence, physical and/or emotional abuse and/or neglect; parent-child conflicts; housing problems or financial distress; alcohol or substance abuse problems; mental health problems or serious emotional disturbances; delinquency or incarceration; death, divorce or separation of parents; special needs presented by chronic illness and handicapping conditions; social isolation; household management; stress management, conflict resolution and/or anger management; children whose needs are not met by their families and who require additional support; children in care who are not resident in specialized resources and who require supplemental services.

Community Partners/Funders
The BC government has funded the Outreach Services to Children, Youth & Families since 1971.  The Ministry of Children and Family Development currently provides funding for services within this program.
