Purpose Statement
Participating in community activities to help develop social relationships and build independent living skills

About Program
Proving goal directed, child focused support services directly to the children, youth and families to meet the needs where the child or children require extra supports to enhance or improve health, development, quality of life and integration into the community.  This includes children and youth with impairments that limit their ability to participate in their daily activities at home, in school and their communities.  One to One and Group Service available.

Teen Group

15 – 18 years

Pre-teen Group 11-14 years

Group participants are driven and focus on peer/social interactions.  Dinner is provided.

Alternating schedule of every other Friday. 

4:30 – 7:30 pm

Wednesday

Girls Group

 

11 -15 year olds

Group activities are specifically geared for girls, group members have the opportunity to share feelings and learn new skills in a safe and confidential environment. 

Wednesdays

4:00 -5:30 pm

 

Who Qualifies/Eligibility
Participants must be between the ages 6 - 18 years with one or more of the following impairments:  Communication (speech, language, hearing), social, emotional behavioral; self-help; sensory/motor skills; exceptional health needs.

Families must have a referral from the Ministry of Child, Youth and Family Development Children and Youth with Special Needs 604.476.2800.
