About Program
Assisting parents seeking childcare and providing support services to childcare providers.
Services to Parents
Referrals are to childcare providers who have met the program's eligibility criteria. We provide parents with childcare options for children, infant to 12 years of age.
Services to Childcare Providers
Registered LNR and Licensed childcare providers are placed on a monthly updated childcare referral list available to parents seeking childcare.

Service to Childcare Providers
Providing childcare in Maple Ridge or Pitt Meadows
License-not-Required members: Must have clear criminal record check & clear criminal record check for those over 12 in the home, character references, doctor’s reference, first-aid certificate, 19 years of age or older, intake assessment, home safety review, 20 hours of childcare training before or within one year of membership, proof of commercial business liability and accident insurance (recommended), minimum of two childcare related workshops during each year of membership
Licensed childcare provider members: hold a current child care permit issued by Fraser Health to provide Licensed childcare
Other Info
Informal childcare providers, substitutes, childcare providers, community partners and parents may purchase membership to the lending library. Childcare providers also receive our newsletter.

FREE/minimal membership fee
Community Partners/Funders
The BC government has funded the Childcare Resource & Referral Program since 1991. The Ministry of Children and Family Development currently provides the funding for services available within this program.
