What is the purpose of this meeting?

Although the land is currently zoned to accommodate our proposal, the City of Maple Ridge has required that the applicant hold a Development Information Meeting to inform the public and to allow for the identification of any possible issues and concerns the neighbours may have.
 

Who are Community Services?

We are an accredited, multi-service charity dedicated to providing quality programs and services to Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows since 1971.
 

What is the proposed project?

We are proposing a new building on our existing property at 11907 228th Street in Maple Ridge. The building will be six storeys tall, and includes 20,000 square feet of office space for our organization and 94 units of affordable rental housing. 116 off-street parking stalls and 69 bike stalls will be provided.
 

Who is the housing for?

The building includes 94 units of affordable rental housing that will be offered to qualifying tenants at below market rents. Tenants must meet basic income criteria. Inquiries can be sent to affordablerentalhousing@comservice.bc.ca, however please note decisions regarding tenants will not be made until the building is closer to completion.
 

When do you anticipate completion?

This application will go before Council for approval approximately mid February. If approved, the applicant would be in position to apply for a building permit. Construction could theoretically begin as soon as the summer of 2018, with completion expected in late 2019 or early 2020.
